About Me and This Project

I have been taking photos for several years, but most of these have revolved around my job. So as a turfgrass scientist at Penn State, I have plenty of images of grass, weeds, turf diseases, and golf courses. And while some of these images are pretty decent and a few even published, I have been wanting to get back into photography and learn more about taking better photos.

Inspired by many of the people on Flickr and various other Project 365 blogs, I decided that I would start my own. Over the next year, I hope to:

1) Actually complete this project
2) Learn more about my camera and photography techniques
3) Learn more about others completing 365 Projects

This is my second attempt at completing a 365 Project. In 2009-2010 I made it over 260 days before failing.
